Consort Homes Ltd, Yorkshire’s leading residential housebuilder, has ensured its homes are beautifully warm this winter with installation of Fastfloor Heatsave. This heating system will provide a very energy efficient, under floor heating in many of the company’s homes.
Recently named in a survey as one of the fastest growing companies in Yorkshire, Consort Homes built 100 units across eight developments in the region in 2004. These included 2-bed apartments, 3-bed semi-detached houses and luxury detached houses at Gomersal; Morley; Barwick-in-Elmet; Hightown; Baildon and Pool-in-and Wharfedale. The houses and apartments at Barwick-in-Elmet; Hightown and Baildon are amongst the homes that have already benefited from the Heatsave flooring system.
Consort has utilised this system to offer a highly energy efficient approach to the construction of the ground floors using prestressed concrete T beams infilled with purpose designed expanded polystyrene panels.
