Consort Homes Continues to Put the Customer First

In recognition of Consort Homes’ superb quality and customer service, the company has won the Zurich Building Guarantee highly competitive ‘Customer First’ 2005 site award for the North of England & Scotland.

Laura Barrand-Haigh, Consorts’ customer care co-ordinator, accepted the award from Baroness Andrews, the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, at a prestigious awards event held on 9th September at the Kempinski Courthouse Hotel in London. Barry Cryer OBE, gave a speech to the 100 attendees compiled of house builders throughout the UK.

Northern-based housebuilder Consort has built an enviable reputation by combining the highest standards of craftsmanship and customer care with the ability to meet the diverse requirements of its clients, at prestigious developments throughout Yorkshire and West Scotland.

Consort’s developments are individually designed for each site and the company’s approach means that each home can be tailored to customers' wishes within an affordable price - including choice of internal specifications. The company is registered with Zurich Building Guarantee, a division of Zurich Insurance, which provides 10-year warranty policies for the added peace of mind Consort’s customers.

Darren Stubbs, chairman, commented: “It's the sort of care which our buyers rely upon and which has seen the business named twice as Regional Developer of the Year, 4th Fastest Growing Company in Yorkshire and now regional winner in the Zurich Building Guarantee Customer First award scheme, judged on the views of our satisfied customers.”

Zurich polled Consort’s customers with a questionnaire quizzing them on the service received by the company, quality standards and information provided.

Consort has been building homes throughout Yorkshire for over a decade, and the company will continue to provide exceptional customer service and standards in the years to come.
