21st September 2007 - School Lea Show Home is a Sell Out

Following last week’s launch of the show home at Consort Homes’ School Lea development in Halifax, all of the houses built to the same design and specification have been sold, taking the total number of properties sold to over 50 per-cent.

The show home exemplifies the high standard of Consort’s design and finish, demonstrating spacious living over three floors with benefits such as designated utility space, a breakfast dining area and a terrace.

John Scholey, Sales Director at Consort Homes, said: “We always strive to ensure the show home reflects the high standard and great design that we offer in every home we sell and the stream of fast sales at School Lea are testament to this.

“We are excited that more and more buyers are seeing that School Lea is an ideal community for first time buyers and family living. The site is positioned adjacent to a primary school and is just a short walk from local amenities.”

School Lea comprises two and three-bedroom mews homes and one and two-bedroom apartments, set on the outskirts of Halifax, the Calder Valley’s largest town. The properties are built to a high specification, including: beautifully designed kitchens, chrome effect fixtures, fitted wardrobes and a high quality finish.

Each property includes a comprehensive list of features as standard, including: a fully fitted kitchen with a fridge/freezer and integrated oven and hob; a three-piece bathroom suite with chrome fittings; gas central heating; chrome effect ironmongery; and coving in the living room, dining room and hallway. Two-bedroom mews homes are priced from £134,950.

School Lea is one of four unique, recently launched developments in Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield and Halifax, and part of Consort’s larger portfolio stretching into Scotland, ranging from one-bedroom apartments to six-bedroom luxury homes.
