September 2006 - The Real Race to New York

Bonfire night may seem a long way off but not if you’re training for the New York City Marathon.

Consort Homes Customer Care Manager, Phil Lee has teamed up with Real Radio’s Sarah Wakefield to run the 26-mile race in the Big Apple on 5th November and is hoping to raise £10,750 for Real Radio’s Real Appeal.

July 2006 - Consort Runners Pile on the Pounds for Real

If you stacked 10,750 pound coins on top of each other at the feet of the Statue of Liberty, they would reach the top of her head. This fact has spurred Consort Homes’ Phil Lee and Stewart Loben are aiming to pile on 10,750 pounds for Real Radio’s Real Appeal by running the New York Marathon on November 5th. In a genius piece of persuasion, they also managed to rope Sarah Wakefield from Real Radio’s news team into joining them.

February 2006 - Head Found In Headingley

The head of an elderly Yorkshire man has been unearthed at Consort Homes’ Oakhurst development in Headingley. The head, still sporting a flat cap, is believed to have lain undiscovered for many years at the site previously occupied by Headingley Nursing home and Consort are now beginning a head hunt to trace its origin.
